Senior Solution Architect (m/f/x)

You already have many years of experience in the development and design of mission-critical applications? You have already read a lot about the challenges of distributed systems in theory and would now like to face them with your previous practical knowledge? You are able to understand customer requirements and design optimized architectures for them and you are skilled in finding the best solution under the given conditions?
Excellent - The Techspace team is looking forward to you! As a Senior Solution Architect (m/f/x) at Techspace you will design architectures for our customers as well as for our own SaaS services. With your hands-on mentality, you will also be part of our high-performance development team and skilfully put your specifications into practice. Due to the close cooperation with the team, you are directly involved in our open feedback culture and can thus intuitively develop yourself further. With us, you don’t have to become a manager to be appreciated or to be successful.
Your field of activity includes in particular:
- Design and development of architectures for cloud-based services or hybrid cloud/on prem services.
- Designing transition architectures for mission critical (legacy) systems that usually need to be migrated on the fly. .
- Implementing cloud native/Saas solutions with our high performing team.
- Point of contact/sparring partner for the customer architects or product owners.
- Responsibility for meeting non-functional requirements or other frameworks.
- Evangelist for architecture topics such as serverless or microservice meshes.
- Point of contact around design issues and best practices.
- Author & speaker at conferences.
- Training and mentoring of our High Potentials.
You should definitely be familiar with these technologies, frameworks, patterns or tools
- Client/Server - Architekturen
- Microservice design patterns (12 factor app)
- AWS / Azure
- Datenbasedesign SQL/NoSQL
- JVM performance tuning and profiling skills (Hotspot or OpenJ9)
- Knowledge of at least one programming language on the Java Virtual Machine (JVM) - preferably Java or Kotlin
