You are an expert in the field of enterprise software development with a focus on the backend part of applications and are familiar with classic architecture patterns as well as microservice or serverless architectures? You have many years of experience in the development of mission-critical software solutions and have already developed or been responsible for critical services? Your software development skills are one of your greatest assets and you are constantly improving yourself? Your demands on yourself and your colleagues are always high?
Excellent - The Techspace team is looking forward to you! As a Senior Backend Engineer (m/f/x) you will develop software solutions for us and our customers. With your hands-on mentality, you are an essential part of a high-performance team that develops customized and highly efficient (cloud) solutions. Your field of activity includes in particular:
- Designing and developing cloud-based services and hybrid cloud/on prem services.
- Participating in a high-performing development team that is constantly evolving to stay ahead of the curve.
- Developing or implementing specifications to meet non-functional requirements.
- Evaluating new technologies and cloud-based concepts or architectures.
- Implementing concepts based on customer requirements and architecture specifications.
- Development and implementation of performance improvements.
- Implementation of functional user stories.
- Design and development of microservices as well as taking responsibility for fully automated (serverless) operation.
You should definitely be familiar with these technologies, frameworks, patterns or tools
- Java / JavaEE / JakartaEE and/or Spring
- Microprofile
- Quarkus
- SQL /NoSQL
- Hibernate
- Flyway
- Kubernetes
- Helm / Kustomize
- Maven / Gradle
- IntelliJ / Eclipse
- Container Engines (e.x. Docker or Podman)
